JOB DESCRIPTION: The firm seeks a Controller to join their team. The Controller will report to the Portfolio Manager/General Partner and will be responsible for managing the financial infrastructure to achieve defined business objectives, operational goals and growth strategies to support the firm's investment activities. He/she will have responsibility for ensuring the highest quality reporting, policies, controls, systems and processing are in place to protect the integrity of the firm's assets and information.
Given the entrepreneurial nature of the firm and depending on the skill set of candidate, Controller may also have marketing/IR responsibilities in support of the General Partner in charge of marketing and IR.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
- MUST HAVE previous experience as a Controller or Assistant Controller/CFO in Financial Services
- MUST HAVE strong and audit skills applicable to the financial industry
- MUST HAVE an accounting, finance or economics undergraduate degree and CPA
- MUST HAVE strong analytical and problem solving skills coupled with the ability to manage time effectively
- Some marketing/IR experience a PLUS

JOB DESCRIPTION: The firm seeks a Junior Controller to join their team. The Junior Controller will report to the Controller and will have primary responsibilities for trade reconciliation, cash reconciliation, and position reconciliation with various counterparties. He/she will also be tasked with assisting the Controller with financial reporting, audit, and other ad hoc projects.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
- MUST HAVE 2-5 years experience in financial services
- MUST HAVE exceptional math and communication skills
- MUST BE extremely detail-oriented
- MUST HAVE strong excel and analytical skills
- MUST HAVE familiarity with bank debt
